For pet parents, by pet parents.
We’re dog parents, too. We know the feeling of closing the front door and wondering how our dogs will cope while we’re away.
We’d love to take them everywhere, but everyday life doesn’t always allow it. Work, errands, and other commitments mean that sometimes, they have to stay home.
Like many pet parents, we bought toys to keep our dogs occupied and set up cameras to check on them. Seeing them helped. Talking to them through the camera gave us a way to connect. Still, when we saw them barking, pacing, or waiting by the door, we wished we could do a little more.
That wish became the starting point for our Smart Companion Ball.
What if a toy could respond when a dog barked—offering playful movement, music, or a reassuring message recorded in their person’s own voice? What if that interaction came inside a soft plush companion, with replaceable covers to bring a little variety to playtime?
We began turning that idea into a product.
Our goal is to offer dogs more opportunities for companionship and play during alone time, with the hope of making those everyday moments a little easier for them and their people.
The product is still in development. As we build and test it, we’ll share what we learn and be honest about what it can do.
It all started with a feeling we share with so many dog parents: wanting to be there for our dogs, even when we have to step away.
